How many victims in Pakistan?

In the last few years, it is estimated that some 50,000 Pakistanis have been killed in the war between the Pakistani government and the Taliban.  How come we don't hear statements from UN about that? How come the UNSC does not meet over this matter? And how come US media does not speak about how the Pakistani regime killed 50,000 of "its own people"?
