Fu'ad Sanyurah from 2000: writing about Hafidh Al-Asad in a letter to Bashshar

From As-Safir in July 2000.  (Somebody should translate: it is pretty pathetic.  It includes this passage:  President Asad left in his great achievements prints that can't be erased on the history of the Arab nation, and they will remain firmly placed in the memory of the generations.  He is truly the builder of modern Syria and it is he who over more than a quarter century provided for sisterly Syria internal stability which let her enjoy social and economic security and safety, and allowed her to remain steadfast in the face of external conspiracies, etc).
