Prisoner exchange in Syria

From Ali, Tureky correspondent:
"Syrian daily Al Watan said on December 31 that Syrian forces arrested four Turkish fighter pilots who were trying to sneak into a military airport with an armed group in the northern province of Aleppo. This claim was rejected by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

and today:

An unnamed Syrian official told Fars News Agency of Iran that the 48 Iranians were released in exchange of the four Turkish pilots:

Turkish Daily Today's Zaman: A swap of prisoners began in the Syrian capital of Damascus on Wednesday under Turkey and Qatar's mediation, with the Syrian regime beginning the release of 2,130 civilian prisoners, including many Turkish nationals, in exchange for 48 Iranian nationals held captive by the Syrian opposition."
