Al Arabiya: "Syrian opposition fighters have announced the capture of suspected assassins of French journalist Gilles Jacquier who was killed in a rocket explosion in the city of Homs early last year. A Free Syrian Army commander appeared in a video aired by Al Arabiya on Tuesday saying that four months ago a few members of Assad’s Shabbiha gangs were captured while conducting assassinations in the Baba Amr area." When Jacquier was killed last year, the western&Gulf media and top western officials blame the regime. However, they never mentioned that he was killed by a rocket while "watching a pro-regime" demonstration in Homs.
- like all western media and top officials, AFP manipulating the event by concealing Jacquier "was watching a pro-regime demonstration" when the rocket hit: and they reported the statements of "activists" and "syrian national council" who were blaming it on the regime.
- But the truth (interestingly the truth was exposed by an AFP journalist Joseph eid, AFP never asked his opinions on the event although he was an eyewitness :
