This is when the West really cares about Palestinians

I only see sympathy for Palestinians in the Western press when Palestinians are killed or bombed by Arabs, but never when killed or bombed by Israel.  I grew up in Lebanon where Palestinian camps were being bombed from the air almost weekly, and there was never such sympathy for Palestinians.  Even when the White Man cries, it is not tears that you see on his cheeks.
