Saudi intelligence rumors in the Times

"Its leader, Ahmed Jibril, was said to have fled to the Syrian coast or to Iran."  Is said? Said by whom? By Saudi princes' media?  Anyone who knows anything about Jibril can quickly discount this silly rumor especially when it was denied by Anwar Raja yesterday on the news station of King Fahd himself (Al-Arabiyya).
