accusing them of rape, found herself charged with the violation of public
decency during an initial hearing today at the Court of First Instance in
Tunis....On
September 11, the Ministry of the Interior’s spokesperson stated that the three
police officers “caught [the woman] in an immoral act” with a male companion
before she was reportedly raped."
