Western media and Syrian exile opposition lies

Western media are now PR outfits for Syrian exile opposition and media of Saudi princes. Last week, they all reported that the Syrian presidential chief-of-protocol has defected.  All media (West and East) carried the story.  And then the man appeared to deny the story.  There were no denials printed or corrections.  It is the season.
