the most arrogant potentate: Bashsahr

How long has it been since Bashshar addressed "his" people?  How long?  It is stunning that he on the one hand continues to cling to power while he continues to disregard the opinion or sentiments of the Syrian people.  How he does not even bother to explain to the people his point of view.  These people grew up in royal palaces disconnected from reality, and will go down disconnected from reality.
