Of course, Mr. Raspberry would get a prominent obituary in the Times--a paper not known for its respect for African-Americans and a paper that rarely or kindly remembers dead African-Americans. But William Raspberry earned his place in the White Man's honor list ever since he called for the deployment of US soldiers against poor blacks in Washington, DC. The White Man also appreciated Raspberry pattern of blaming blacks for their poverty, misery, and for racism against...blacks. Also, he was boring. And to be boring is respectable in US Washington, DC media.
