One of the writers at Al-Akbbar English sent me this: "If I may comment, since I write in Al Akhbar English.
I'm completely against the regime. I find it revolting, bloody, incompetent
and illegitimate. The editors have never indicated they would censor me if I
were to write on Syria, in fact they encourage more views irrespective of their
positions. Also, people seem to ignore Antoun Issa's articles that are
constantly against the regime.
The LA Times doesn't really know us and I'm not that surprised."
