Cowardly Jordanian opposion

The worst opposition in the Arab world, I have argued, is probably the Jordanian opposition.  It trembles at the feet of the ruler.  A few days ago, the opposition held a demonstration in response to inflation and chanted: The People want the downfall of the parliament.  The parliament? The parliament makes decisions in Jordan?  Who are you fooling?
