Ali Farzat

I wrote about `Ali Farzat before: this most brilliant cartoonist who was friend of Bashshar but later became critic of the regime and was beaten up by thugs of the regime last year.  He spoke from Qatar on New TV and denied that there is any violence on the part of the Syrian opposition in Syria and said that the opposition is still peaceful, peaceful. Kid you not.
