Al-Akhbar and Syria

By the way, this [English translation is linked] article on Syria by Al-Akhbar's editor-in-chief, Ibrahim Al-Amin, has triggered attacks on Al-Akhbar in pro-Syrian regime websites and media.  Among other things, Ibrahim calls for the arrest of Rami Mukhluf and the confiscation of assets and properties.  Of course, I disagree: I think that the regime is based on corruption and repression and for that it defies reform of any kind.
