Shelling in Syria

I listened to a report on developments in Syria yesterday on Al-Arabiyyah (the news network of King Fahd's brother-in-law).  They had on an opposition figure/activist/eyewitness in Syria. He said: there was shelling in Idlib and Humus but then he paused, as if feeling that the audience expected more drama coverage so he added: and in EVERY town in the whole of Syria.  I kid you not. This was from yesterday.    Why have reports and why resorts to those reliable "eyewitnesses"?  Just say, today the regime dropped more nuclear and biological weapons on every street in Syria.
