The danger of what the Syrian regime did in Baba Amr

The danger is that the Syrian regime may be able to restore and instill fear in the mind of the Syrian public, after the Syrian uprising did a great job to undermine that fear.  Whenever I see footage from Homs where interviews with people are aired on Syrian regime TV, I detect the classic Syrian public fear. That is the danger.
