Saudi and Qatari media are ecstatic.  After months of waiting, they have now big headlines to announce a key defector from Syria.  Apparently, a guy who reads the economic bulletin on Syria TV has defected.  I have been watching Syrian regime TV lately and never recall seeing his face.  Yet, the news is big enough for the Saudi and Qatari media.
