Taliban in Doha

Make no mistake about it.  Qatar opened an office for Taliban in Doha, Qatar only at the behest of the American administration.  The US wanted Qatar to become intimately involved with the Taliban in the hope of bringing them to the negotiating table.  Yes, the irony can't be missed: the US went to war to overthrow the Taliban in Afghanistan, and now is begging them to return to power.  Count another great success for the US.
