Pipeline in Homs: non-Violently bombed

It is hilarious how the Western media--obsessed with the New York Times theory that Gene Sharp inspired Arab uprisings--insist on the thesis that Arab uprisings are strictly non-violent even when violence hits their TV screens.  Did Gene Sharp inspire the bombing of the Homs pipeline today?
