Saudi media and the Bahrain commission

Saudi media are outraged at the Bahrain commission.  Their reaction is typical of Saudi media when they are angry: they tend to lie more and omit more.  I went to the loud and vulgar Saudi outlet, Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat, (the mouthpiece of Prince Salman and his sons) and found no reference whatsoever.  There was one item on Bahrain: that the Saudi King talked on the phone with the Bahraini King. Kid you not.  The website of Al-Arabiyya (the news station of King Fahd's brother-in-law) had this headline about the report:  "The Protesters targeted Sunnis".  Kid you not.  They also posted what they claimed was an interview with Bassioni in which he repeated the same allegation: can someone verify if this interview did indeed take place?  You have to read Al-Arabiyya article on the report to see the extent to which Saudi media brazenly lie and cheat and deceive and fabricate.  But what does one expect from media tied to House of Saud?  Obviously, the report has proven to be embarrassing to the GCC alliance of repression.

PS I am told that the print edition of the paper has a story on the front page on the Bahrain report but I can't find it on the site itself. I did see the PDF cover page of the paper and it is there but not on the site. Too embarrassing for those propagandists?
