US war in Somalia

Somalia is perhaps the most unreported story in the Western and Arab press.  The role of the US in ravaging Somalia has not been reported adequately: not only from the days of Ziad Beri but for what has transpired in the last decade.  How the US sent Ethiopian troops, and how the US intervened in what was then a civil war, pitting the criminal war lords against the youths of the Islamic Court militias.  How the Youths had no links to Al-Qa`idah for years (although that may have changed in recent years) and how after the Ethiopian occupation troops gave up on their US mission, the US organized the AU's force of 10,000 to tip the balance in favor of the war lords and how the US seems to have sent Kenyan forces in the last few days.
