I don't know who this Syrian-American guy is and I don't know if he works for Syrian intelligence but the discussion of whether he met or did not meet with Bashshar is just ridiculous. I mean, if he really is an intelligence person, it is certain that he would NOT have met with Bashshar. Why would Bashshar meet with someone accused of spying on Syrians in the US?? Why would Bashshar be so keenly curious about what Syrian students are doing in the US? And if he is not working for the mukhabarat, he may have met with Bashshar who often meets with Syrian immigrants living abroad. So the picture mean nothing. Obama's administration propaganda is not less dumb than that of Bush.
PS And if he was a dangerous secret Syrian intelligence operative in the US, they would risk his cover and make sure to have him in a public picture with the Syrian president?
