Silence

There is silence in the Western and Arab (Saudi) press about the "clashes" in the eastern province in Saudi Arabia. The official statement by the government seems to question the loyalty of Shi`ite citizens.  Yet, not one word in Western capitals: not about the violence by the government and not about the violent threatening statement by the Ministry of Interior.  And you think that Western governments can fool an Arab child with their ostensible support for democracy in the region?
