Tantawi at Tahrir Square

Western newspapers did not report this but Arabic newspapers did.  Field Marshall Tantawi went down to Tahrir Square last Friday: his visit lasted from 8 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the paper you read.  But they reported what people who flocked to him said: the first question was about when would Egypt cancel the Camp David accord.  Another person asked him about sale of gas to Israel.  The encounter was so pleasurable for Tantawi that he rushed back quickly.
