US Chutzpah

So a US State Department spokesperson insisted on the right of US diplomats in Syria to travel around the country to monitor developments.  Do Syrian ambassadors in US have that right too?  If one of them dared to travel around the US to monitor human rights violations, he would be immediately whisked on a military plane, and his body would be "gently eased off" down to the Arabian Sea.
