Dirty Hands of Syrian mukhabarat

It is really bothering me how Syrian Mukhabarat--yes, I am accusing them--kidnapped Shibili `Aythami (a Syrian Ba`thist dissident) while he was taking a walk outside the home of his daughter in `Alayy in Lebanon.  He is a man in his mid-80s and has been retired from politics for years.  There is no questions that he was kidnapped by Syrian mukhabarat.  This has been bothering me.  Syrian government (like the Iraqi Ba`thist government) has been merciless toward Ba`thist rivals.
