Arab liberals

If you want to know why Arab liberals are so disrespected in the Arab world, just try to ask one of them if you meet one: have you ever written a word about Saudi women?  One word?  Have you ever called for freedom in GCC countries (other than Qatar during the Saudi-Qatari feud)? Ever?  Of course, being a writer for one of the many Saudi princes is not a recipe for respect and consistency in the Arab world.
