Ahmed Karzai

Look how this piece in the New York Times make it sound as if Karzai was not part of the US occupation structure:  "a divisive power broker who was accused of corruption and alienated the American military..."  How inaccurate.  Even Ahmed Rashid (who now rarely offends the US government), had to admit:  "He openly helped American and British forces with strategic advice and knowledge of the tribes, and ran a clandestine Afghan special operations team for the C.I.A. And, as early as 2007..."
