Elie Frizli's theory of "conspiracy against Syria"

This pro-Syrian Lebanese politician is now making the rounds repeating his "theory" about the external conspiracy against the Syrian regime.  He said that it is the same conspiracy against the Ottoman Empire when a "handful of Jews" conspired to bring down the Empire.  I am not making this up: he really said that.
