The new twist in Middle East conspiracy: Saudi Arabia is running the show

My impression (and information) is that since the ouster of Mubarak, Saudi Arabia became very resentful of the US government which it accused of betraying Husni Mubarak, and other US puppets in the region.  Towards that effort, the Saudi government took matters in its own hand and acted in Bahrain and is now acting in various covert ways throughout the Middle East.  In the past, they played a subordinate role to US covert operations, but House of Saud are now feeling a new measure of self-confidence and independence.  In this context, Saudi Arabia has also made its close relations with the Mossad closer.
