Several friends and readers asked me why I did not write about Khamis. My honest answer is this: I never heard of this guy and did not know who he is, although now reading the obituary in the New York Times I realized I did watch "Arna's Children." But why should I devote time and space to him? Not only because I did not know who he was, but is it because his half-Israeli side qualifies him to a better human category over those Palestinians who have been killed all week by Israeli terrorists?
