When New York Times conducts a poll in Tunisia

Khelil, a Tunisian scholar, sent me this: ""An informal poll of more than a dozen young men gathered there produced uniform agreement, yet few here dare criticize the Islamists openly."  At least the Times recognizes that Tunisians do not want the fundamentalists and Ghannouchi is comical when he speaks about his return, this man has been gone for 22 years and very few have ever called for his return or awaiting it now. And remember most Tunisians, like myself, have no prior memory of him or al-Nahda. But the Times is dead wrong to write that few would criticize the Islamists. Tunisians have and continue to openly deride them and Ghannouchi will not receive a favorable reception in the press when he lands. What kind of poll is three dozen men anyway?"
