Tunisian Minister, Usama Ramdani
When the demonstrations started in Tunisia, the Tunisian dictator wanted a scape goat. So he dismissed four of his ministers, including his Minister of Communications (or Information as we call it in the Arab East), Usama Ramdani. I was friends with Usama when he served in Washington, DC in the 1990s, and he and his wife served me great Tunisian dishes and sweets. I used to argue with him about his service for the lousy regime. And to be honest with you, I don't feel sorry for him for being sacked like that by this boss--the dictator. That is what happens when you serve such regime. They use you and then discard you. A lesson learned.
