US government on elections in Egypt and Iran

Egypt:
"When State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley was asked on Tuesday what would be the administration's "next step," he said only that "we will continue to raise our concerns where appropriate..."
Iran:
"The White House said human rights "are a matter of moral and pragmatic necessity for the United States" and the United States "will always stand with those in Iran who aspire to have their voices heard."" (thanks Hussein)
