The Hariri scandal

There is another Hariri scandal brewing in Lebanon but one that is not getting any attention in the Western press, unsurprisingly.  Series of meetings and investigations by the the parliamentary Committee of Finance and Budget have revealed years of cooking the books at the Lebanese Ministry of Finance.  Monies are either missing or have been illegally funneled or appropriated.  Apparently these practices started weeks after the ascension of lousy Rafiq Hariri to power (with US/Saudi/Syrian support--lest we forget.)
