Meet this expert on Al-Qa`idah

"DR JARRET BRACHMAN is an internationally recognized al-Qa`ida specialist. The Associated Press has called him an “information warrior.” Al-Qaida’s supporters have called him the “excrement from Satan’s butt.” Even Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, the deputy director of al-Qaida, has cursed him by name on multiple occassions." I don't know who this guy is but he identifies himself as an expert on Al-Qa`idah. Notice what he said about himself. And notice that the expression that he attributes to the unnanamed "Al-Qaida's supporters" is not even an Arabic expression, and does not even translate well into Arabic. To my knowledge, he has no Middle East expertise and no knowledge of Middle East language. Most importantly, I have never EVER seen his name in Arabic sites belonging to Bin Ladenites or communists or vegetarians. You may google him and find that he is only quoted in Western news accounts. Most importantly, there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER that Al-Zawahiri ever mentioned him by name. This is like when Oliver North invented the story that Abu Nidal was after him (to justify funding his own security fence). Where do those people come from? Who do they think they are? Who are they fooling? If Al-Qa`idah is going to be defeated, it would require real experts and not braggarts and swagger. Oh, and this dude is also a medical expert, and here he is commenting on the health of Khalid Shaykh Muhammad based on a picture: ""He looks like he's in great health," Brachman told msnbc.com."
