The Fath Circus and Women

""We formed a coalition with the men, but they betrayed us; they were voted in due to our support, but they failed to reciprocate," Intissar al-Wasir said Tuesday after all the female candidates failed to gain a seat on Fatah's 21-member Central Committee at the movement's landmark conference in Bethlehem." Oh, please. Give me a potato. Intisar Al-Wazir (or Umm Jihad) wants to speak on behalf of Palestinian women now? Her relations to Palestinian women is like Jihad Sadat's relations to Egyptian women. And who in his/her right mind wants to join a movement which is led--in its "reformist" phase--by Muhammad Dahlan and Jibril Rajjub. If this is the new blood of Fath, please please please bring back the old blood. (thanks Olivia)
