Pierre `Atallah of An-Nahar

An-Nahar (the right-wing, sectarian Christian, anti-Syrian (people), anti-Palestinian (people) is full of right-wing, sectarian and racist writers and columnists. One Hariri columnist, Rashid Fayid, recently called the opposition in Lebanon "Third Worlders" (he thinks of himself as "First world"). This writer, Pierre `Atallah is an extreme right winger who was associated with the right-wing anti-Palestinian pro-Israeli militia known as "Guardians of the Cedar [and Potato]". Here, he refers to the victory of the March 14 list in Beirut 1 as "clean victory" because they won with Christian votes without resort to dirty Muslim votes. (thanks I.R.)
