Faris Murad: an Arab Hero

Read this account of a brave Palestinian-Syrian (revolutionary) communist dissident. He died three days ago. You will not hear of him: not in the Arabic or in the Western press because he is not one of those fashionable civil society types. He is still a revolutionary and gives a most honest account about his past and about his situation (until his death). Statues should be erected for heroes like him, and not for the corrupt rulers of the region and their relatives. (thanks Amer)
