New York Times has ruled:
"Israeli officials say that they are obeying the rules of war and trying hard not to hurt noncombatants but that Hamas is using civilians as human shields in the expectation that Israel will try to avoid killing them." It is over. The New York Times has ruled on the matter. Can you imagine the uproar if the New York Times were to quote a Hamas official (and I am sure many would be available) to state in a similar fashion that Hamas commanders are "obeying the rules of war and trying hard not to hurt noncombatants"? There would be demonstrations outside of the New York Times' building in New York.
