Hizb-at-Tahrir was licensed by Hariri Minister of Ping Pong, Ahmad Fatfat. Pictures were taken near the house of Fu'ad Sanyurah on Bliss Street in Beirut. (thanks FLC) Hizb At-Tahrir started its activities in Beirut under the aegis of the Hariri government by holding a demonstration in support of Bin Laden and Zarqawi (and pro-Hariri slogans were chanted too).
PS: the party underwent a transformation (real or superficial, who knows?) last year when it reinvented itself, and added Shi`ites to its leadership, and changed its slogans. See this post.
