The Intellectual Adviser of Abu Mazen. My sources in Lebanon tell me that one of the key advisers to Abu Mazen is Muhsin Ibrahim--who was one of the key advisers to Yasir `Arafat, and who was one of the few people who knew about the secret negotiations that led to Oslo. Ibrahim, of course is the Lebanese Stalinist-Leninist founder of the Communist Action Organization, which served with the Lebanese Communist Party to undermine the appeal and reputation of Leftism in the Arab world. The Communist Action Organization is also blamed for producing the largest number of intellectual opportunists in the region: many of the advisers of Hariri family (Nasir Al-As`ad, Muhammad Kishli, `Adnan Zibawi, Hani Hammud, Ahmad Qa`bur, Samir Franjiyyah) graduated from this organization.
