I don't have time to comment on Lebanese developments. The resignation of Shi`ite ministers is "too little, too late" as the cliche goes. Also, I am not a fan of sectarian acts and movements, and that is all what you get in Lebanon. And I am still dumbfounded by mini-Hariri putting the rules of the international tribunal on his father's grave-site. But Hariri media are reporting that Rafiq Hariri was able to read the cited document and make some suggestions. I am reading the new biography of Prince Bandar. The British author reveals his approach in the acknowledgment section: he thanks Bandar's assistant for going over the manuscript and making changes and corrections. Is that not nice? Really. I say very nice. But it was quite repulsive to read the fawning praise for Bandar by Nelson Mandela. That should disabuse of some notions of hero worship.
