Hamas Fools and Fath crooks: I have never been a fan of Hamas’ ideology or of its practice but you have to be blind to not see the US/Israeli conspiracy against a democratically-elected Palestinian government. `Arafat, despite my contempt for him, at least had popular support, which put some restraints on his behavior, and limited his ability and desire to please US/Israel. Abu Mazen has no popular support whatever (outside of the gangs of thugs that are being funded and trained by US/Israel) and it has made it easy for him to become a mere stooge for Israel/US. There has never been a Palestinian leader like him, in the entire history of Palestinian struggle for liberation, not that I count Abu Mazen as struggler—he does not deserve that honor. This is a man who never rose within the Fath movement, and who was known as the money person who was careful, publicly, with Fath’s money, but has not shown any care with Palestinian public funds since his return to Palestine after Oslo. This is a man who personally funded every Palestinian attack in the 1960s and 1970s, but all that was forgiven because he became an Israeli stooge. His anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial from the 1960s and 1970s were also forgiven. He went back to Palestine, and Israel over the years knew who to kill among PLO leaders: all the capable leaders have been killed by Israel (and some by Syria and Iraq), and this less than mediocre person was left in order to pick up the pieces after the murder of `Arafat. `Arafat rewarded Abu Mazen after Oslo to please his Israeli/US patrons. He built a massive mansion for himself, and had a large budget, and spent tens of thousands of dollars on the wedding of his corrupt son. Abu Mazen (with US/Israel backing) became a prime minister when the post was the invention of the Israeli Mossad (according to the latest book by former head of Israeli intelligence) to weaken `Arafat and to follow through with US boycott of him. Abu Mazen wanted the same powers for the office of prime minister which he now wants to deny to the current prime minister, who came to office by election, while Abu Mazen became prime minister under `Arafat by an Israeli decision. He later resigned from his post because, well, Fath members wanted to kill him. He had to go into hiding because he was seen as daring to challenge `Arafat. Gulf countries, doing their best to please US/Israel after Sep. 11 are backing Abu Mazen, especially that he had been a loyal servant of Gulf oil princes for years and decades, like Khalid Hasan before him. But Israel killed Abu Iyad, Abu Al-Hawl, Abu Jihad, Abu Yusuf, Kamal `Udwan, and those men would not have even permitted Abu Mazen to even say a word. Israel always knew who to kill and who to keep alive—the agents and the stooges were allowed to live. But Hamas officials have been acting like fools—there is a very sinister conspiracy—a violent takeover of a democratically elected government really—against the will of the Palestinian people. It is an US/Israeli conspiracy, and the only one who is not seeing the conspiracy and not recognizing it are the Hamas officials themselves. How dumb Hamas officials sound when I hear them talking about their “respect for brother the president, Abu Mazen.” That is how stupid they are. They are not realizing that Abu Mazen, for everybody to see, is orchestrating a takeover of power. There are now armed thuggish gangs funded by US/EU/Saudi Arabia to impose the will of an unpopular leader. Nobody is asking how Abu Mazen is managing the funding of his armed gangs, and the mafia gangs of Muhammad Dahlan, when he claims that there area no monies to fund Palestinian hospitals. I was enraged yesterday when the news came about Israeli (European) agents at the Rafah border crossing finding hundreds of thousands of dollars on a Hamas official. At least, nobody has even dared to accuse this official of smuggling the money for his own use, as Fath leaders are known to do. Does Muhammad Dahlan get searched when he returns from his trips to Gulf countries? Do they search Abu Mazen when he enters? And those, unlike Hamas, do not even run public services and are known to embezzle, steal, and misuse the money of the Palestinian people. They have stolen the tax money of the Palestinian people. And Hamas officials don’t even know what they are doing; they still think that they can rule just because they have the democratic mandate. They don’t even know that the US/EU don’t care about votes and about democratic mandates, and they only care about imposing the will of the Israeli government on the Palestinian people. Abu Mazen is now the official Israeli stooge in Palestine, and he only needs to wave the Israeli flag to reveal his true colors. Hamas will be ousted from power, and it is a matter of time. They have to pre-empt their enemies if they want to rule. They have the “political capital” and they are squandering because the Hamas officials are acting like fools. But the most comical statement was issued by the Fath Movement yesterday: it called for an investigation of the Hamas money found on the Hamas spokesperson? Fath asking for an investigation? This is like Bush asking for an investigation of the US role in Vietnam? Fath officials? There were decent members and leaders of Fath in the past, but now Abu Mazen-Dahlan’s Fath is led by crooks, embezzlers, thieves, swindlers, murderers, stooges, spies, and traitors. The orignial Hamas sin of utmost foolishness was to think that they could rule fair and square under the rules of Oslo.
