I talked to a former expert at the US Department of State the other day. He worked there during the first Bush administration. He told me that they used to refer to John Bolton as "Godzilla" when referring to him in private communication. It was then that Bolton intimidated and pressured Department's experts on WMDs when they refused to conform their findings to his fanatic ideology.
