The Unnamed Victim: Another example of Lebanese Racism: A Lebanese newspaper (As-Safir) printed the names of the wounded in yesterday's explosion in Ashrafiyyah. It listed those names (among others): "...Lina Farah, Jamil Hamzah, Lilyan Tu`mah, Lina Ba`aklini, Joseph Bash`alani and a [female] Sri Lankan." (thanks `Amir) And I just heard a newscast on a Lebanese TV station (NBN), and it said: that so and so were injured and "a Sri Lankan girl."
