I just read this account about a new utra-nationalist Lebanonese right-wing committee headed by former Lebanese Forces militia commander (and later Guardian of Cedars leader), Walid Phares. It aims at supporting the UNSC 1559 which I fiercely oppose. But what attracted my attention is the name of Mahasin Hanna. Mahasin: I did not want to write you an email message, and wanted to write this publicly to you. Don't you EVER contact me. EVER. And if a group of Lebanese form a committee against UNSC 1559, would they be received by the UN representative?
