Pictures of Tehran in US media

I was reading this article in the Washington Post (the PDF edition) and they had a typical picture of Tehran.  The pictures of Tehran that I see in US newspapers are always grey and drab, always.  Compare that with the pictures that they show of Riyadh for example. Look at the picture above: you will never see it in US media.
