Casually, and without any complaints from the media, the US intelligence agencies admitted that they had a transcript of the phone call between the Russian ambassador and Michael Flynn. We know that those things take place, but just imagine if the Russian intelligence agency were to admit to Russian media that they taped phone calls of the US ambassador in Moscow. Can you imagine the reactions of US government and media? I am sure that the US will denounce that action at the UN Security Council and will lecture and hector about the Vienna Protocol. The rules (internationally) and norms never apply to the US. And the US is blatant about it: for that it supported the ICC but did not think that it should apply to US war crimes.
