Our Arabic poetry and your American poetry

Because Trump violated the tradition (since Kennedy) in inviting a poet, I went back to read some of the poem of Robert Frost (Your Mutanabbi).  I was astonished. This is what passes as poetry in the US? Bad Arabic poetry is better than Robert Frost's poetry.
